Our enterprise, community of Tula and defence enterprises celebrate
the 85th anniversary of Ganitchev Alexander Nikitovich on August 25,
2003. This anniversary is very important for the family, our enterprise
and many defence enterprises.
The outstanding designer and scientist Alexander Nikitovich was very
talented and gifted. In spite of the fact the he died 20 years ago I
have a feeling that he is still with us. As for me I less than others
was personally acquainted with Alexander Nikitovich, but having known
his book “The weldless shell cases design”, published in 1957 that is
still very acute, I can’t but say that FSUE SPLAV and Alexander Nikitovich
were lucky to meet.

FSUE SPLAV SRPA has presented its developments
at the 31st International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and
Products, that took place in Geneva, Switzerland, 9-13 April. More than
1000 inventions from companies and private researches from 42 countries
were on this show.
By decision of the experts commission, who were evaluating the best inventions
and projects, our enterprise was awarded with the Silver medal and Diploma
for the LIS-1 tachometric pulse gas
meter.

| The delegation of Moscow Government headed
by Y.M. Luzhkov visited the Tula Region on april 14, 2003. While visiting
the FSUE SPLAV SRPA Mr. Luzhkov has expressed a high opinion of a new variant
of LIS-1-04 houshold gas meter fitted with a smart card. The decision was
made to purchase 100 pieces of the gas meter for them operation in the
newly-erected buildings. |
