Federal State Unitary Enterprise "SPLAV State
Research and Production Association" was established in 1945.
"SPLAV" is the leading designer of the Multiple Rocket
Launcher Systems (MRLS) for the Army and the Navy.
More than ten artillery rocket systems among which there are such
well-known MRLS as Grad, Uragan, Smerch, Ogon', which are in service
with more than fifty countries worldwide, were developed by the
personnel of "SPLAV".
The Decree of the Russian Federation Committee on the Military-Industrial
Cooperation with the Foreign Countries, dated 03 February 2003,
has granted the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "SPLAV State
Research and Production Association" (Tula) the right to carry
out the foreign trade activities in regard to the military products
as concerns delivery of the spare parts, aggregates, training and
auxiliary equipment, carrying out of the works on the maintenance
and repair of these military products. |
